On-Site Demidov Masterclasses with Professor Andrei Malaev-Babel

Coming Soon to New York · Atlanta · Chicago · Los Angeles · London

We’re excited to announce a rare opportunity to train with Professor Andrei Malaev-Babel, the world’s leading authority on the Demidov School of Acting. This series of transformative studio-style masterclasses will bring Demidov’s revolutionary approach directly to actors, directors, and teachers in five major cities across the United States and the United Kingdom.

Professor Malaev-Babel is the Head and Certifying Master Teacher of the Demidov Association, and the Director of the FSU/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training, one of the most prestigious MFA acting programs in the U.S. and worldwide. He has also served on the faculty of New College of Florida, and has introduced Demidov’s organic technique to artists across Russia, Europe, North and South America, and Asia. He is responsible for the release of Becoming an Actor-Creator—the first English-language publication of Nikolai Demidov’s foundational work.

“This training is not about constructing behavior. It is about freeing the artist within—quieting the noise of control and allowing the subconscious to speak. It is a return to the art of truly living on stage and on camera.”
