This Saturday September 18 at 3pm London time, we at the Demidov Association will be continuing our series of Instagram Live conversations.
This Saturday we will again be in conversation with the Head of the Demidov Association, Professor Andrei Malaev-Babel and Andrei Biziorek, Director Demidov Studio London, on the subject of Demidov & Stanislavsky.
We had some wonderful questions on this topic last week that we didn’t get a chance to cover. We will be looking at how the history of both men interacted, and where and why Demidov departed from Stanislavsky, including the central differences in the thinking and approach of the two men. We will also address some of the common misconceptions about Stanislavsky still current today.
